Lessons from Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Farmer Boy

Farmer Boy
Not only are the Little House books some of my favorite stories of all time, they really are more than just good stories.
If you are teaching your children about what life was like ‘in the olden days’, be sure to read Farmer Boy with them. Not only does it teach us about how things used to be and the importance of family, it also shows us how to be more productive.  As this article, states so well, there are some great productivity lessons we can all learn from this book. For ourselves and for our children. Why not read this article and discuss it? (covers Health and Career goals, too!).
Oh, and be sure to read the Little House books. They are GREAT for  boys and girls!
